Bridge of Spies

Watched the movie "Bridge of Spies" today. Nice movie, not to mention the genius craftsman duo.. Tom Hanks & Steven Spielberg who had previously combined to give a spectacular films like "Saving Private Ryan". Their magic did the tricks once again with this movie Bridge of Spies. Eventhou the movie is based on a real life incident, it depicts the thrill and the hard work of a normal life insurance agent to act as middle man to negotiate a prisoner swap between the US and the war thorn Germany & (Soviet Union). Simply superb! Really my kind of movie..

Enjoyed watching the movie. :)

Buzy and sweet times

           Its been a long long month i didn't post anything  as ive been freaking busy all time.. Some of the updates i can post now is................ As everyone know..I'm officially a Dad now.. Before that i was busy preparing the pre-arrival stuffs for my baby.. and after the birth ive been busy traveling to the hospital and back home and not to forget the post delivery stuffs and so on.. Hell of a time for me!

But on all those things, i never take it as a pain but rather a sweet experience as a dad. Its been a heavenly fun for me to enjoy the moment :). Ive been juggling my times in between my baby, my family, my work and some miscellaneous stuffs.. and those things has per-occupied my time pretty well for which im having less time on the net to post stuffs and so on..

Divesshwaar

Finally after 7 days of my baby's arrival, ive officially set him a name.. and the name is... Divesshwaar.. Its a Hindu deity Lord Shiva's name.. Which means lord shiva in deeply meditated position.. Calm and in deep concentration. Such a deep admiration i have for my beloved Lord Shiva that ive have his name on my baby.. :)

I wish my baby diveshwaar tend to have his character and be successful in future!

Economy vs Retrench

The current unpredictable global economy seems to have a deep underlying impact on me. I feel nervous at the same time scared thinking of those terrifying words like retrenchment, VSS, termination! Argh!! Why cant these terrifying so called restructuring exercise necessary!? Don't they think about their employees future!? My company have started to talk about them and infact actively pursuing to wipe away 1050 headcounts. Just think of their family, their kids, their mortgages, loans and so many commitments! Oh my, i seriously cannot digest all these. Those terrifying memories of 2008 has returned back to haunt me again, psychologically the only difference is just another company. I'm praying to god that my job and my career would remain the same until i call it a quit one day.

Canary egg

Saw this wonderfull things this evening. While watering my garden plants, my wife told me about some bird lat eggs on one of my chinese bamboo plant. Upon a close observation, it is indeed 2 eggs laid on the hatch. Oh my how joyfull we are!! Photo attached. We did a quick check on the internet, bases on the size of the egg to match what type of bird lay the egg. We got a close match and its a canary bird! :)

Looks like a good omen! My wife is pregnant and a bird laid egg.. wow seems a good sign.

Cant wait

Cant wait to spend quality time with my kid! I have planned so much things in mind to do with my kid and i want to give all my love to him and to be with him in every single moment!

Road to Parenthood

Ive been in and out on a busy scale of my life.. Busy with my tight work schedules, house chores and lots and lots of doctors appointment. Not for me, but for my wife. Yes!! She is pregnant. Carrying our first child (3 months in the tummy). Ive feel very very excited thinking and planning the future for my child. Trying to adapt to a new way of life. Experiencing the early parenthood :)

Well that eats up my time pretty well and causing me not able to blog regularly. Well. I'm enjoying every single moment, cause this starts to happen after 4 years we married, finally on the road to become a father is like a dream comes true, Its felt like ive been into a voyage to the space and back to get the result. That how happy i feel :)

Motherland wish

How i wish, every now and then that i get reunited myself again visiting India like how i do back in Dec last year. Every single moment that i spend in Madurai, Kanchi, Tanjore, Rameshwaram.. i will never gonna forget..ever! I missed those place very much. Feels deeply connected.. completely bonded with those place. It will forever remains a mystery to me with the question why. But strongly i have a feeling that i will visit those place again someday.. it will happen before the end of my life in this birth! :)

Oh my Heart

I'm kept having this uncomfortable health feeling for the past 2 weeks. A sort of scary feeling of what is happening or what will i end up with. All this started in the early of 2 weeks ago where i had a tremendous pain in my lower left arm, this situation translates into a sort of panic thinking of heart related problem. As my father passed away due to heart related complication 2 years back. This scared the hell out of me. So i ran to see a doctor nearby my place and been told that my heart pulse, pressure are all at a normal human being rate. But im still unconvinced on whether its really that's the  case. Wonder what should i do. Everyone around me told me not to panic as its just a normal pain. Haaah..i hope it is. I really don't want to end my life at this age so quickly. There are more to explore in this life. Hope all goes well for me.. healthily..

5th year at Seagate

Today marked my 5th year working anniversary in Seagate technology. Time flies pretty fast as with life. During a meeting today a college of mine who joined seagate together with me suddenly opened notepad app on his laptop and typed "we are 5 years in seagate this march" and show to me in respect of not to make any noise during the meeting. I was left surprise as ive forgotten about it.. Hahaha!

Well it seems like only yesterday i joined seagate and it seems like only last week i left Intel where i worked for 10 years. All these years in seagate there are numerous events which i recalled, which i cherish, which i would love to forget. Not to mention hundreds of faces i saw day in and out. Those good guys, those bad guys, those managers and counterparts. I feel very fortunate this day that ive gone thru a successful life in my corporate life, learning new things, venturing new opportunities and adapting all the knowledge in my personal life.

Seriously, life is good for those able to adapt with it :)

A fishy post

There was once in my life where i abstain myself from eating any type of seafood's or any fisheries.. basically whatever comes down from the sea, then a strict no no for me. Reason? God knows why... haha. I've live with a basic diet of chicken, egg and veg's thruout the time then. Well that's 10 year over story. Now its a different matter. I cant live without seafood's.. Haha in a controllable manner anyway. Ive no idea why the different chapter of restraining myself from eating them and eating them without any restrain whatsoever..

lol sorry for the hard time fishies.. :P

iPad AIR 2

New gadget!!! Yeayy.. Today i bought myself an Apple iPad Air 2. So happy with it. Its my first apple product. Thought of buying one for long time now, today had the chance and i have bought it. Felt so happy of it. A new leap towards a new technology! :)

Again another tragic news of aircraft dissapearance. Its trully shocking to me as i was travelling to and from india using airasia. For now i could only pray that all the passenger's and crew are safely unharmed.

10th year blogging anniversary

Exactly this date, on December 27, 2005  i typed my first blog, its on remembering tsunami. I wrote it like a simple remembrance to the victim and hey! here i am on the same date December 27, 2014.. 10 years from the day i start to blog. I couldn't believe that i have been blogging for freaking 10 years!!!! Wow. Thats a 3652 days of story!! (not exactly, since i didn't blog every single day). However what an achievement it is. I'm so happy that ive utilized the technology of blogging very much.

 
At any rate, over the years this blog has made me some new friends and in some respects helped get me where I am today. Its been an interesting net journey that i will never going to forget!

Back from vacation.

I'm back! Back from a sweet 10 days vacation to India. Its been a week since im back, yet still have no time to blog :(.  Well here i would like to share some of my memories in India. First my ever impression of Tamil Nadu would be the love to the people, the atmosphere, the culture, wow how amazed i felt. Felt very proud seeing for the first time the Tamil culture at its core. Eventhou development and economically its still backward and left behind, it able to sustain wide variety of rich culture, some are very hard to forget at one glance. I'm surprised with those temple architectures and wonderfully protected cultures still exist there till date. Happy that other extremist cultures are at bay in Tamil Nadu! Yea very happy about that.. :)

Foods, eventhou i didnt enjoy that much, most of the time its a simple pleasant Indian dishes which one could get everywhere. Our driver did a good job hanging around with us, keeping us a little comfy at times where both of us tired. Hahaha! Well i certainly missing Tamil nadu, Madurai, Tanjore to name a few. Those places eventhou one cannot find a mall, a big extravagant shopping complexes or any luxury locations, culturuly its magnificient!! and i believe no one can deny that.

The only thing i hated a bit on my visit to india is our detour to Kerala, cochin to be precise. Honestly i made a big mistake landed at that place! Eventhou they are much developed, cleaner and more 'richer' in some way then their neighbour Tamil Nadu, but those peoples attitude would make one swear never to land there again! As soon as one identified you are a tamilian, by the way you talk to others, thats it. They will start to treat you as if you were an unwanted disease or an alien alike. Frankly speaking the next round my visit to India (Oh yea, im going again very soon!) im NOT going to visit kerala again, ever! Unless any circumstances which is unavoidable. But i would make my best assure not to waste a single dollar there.

I really missed Tamil Nadu, eventhou its not clean, dusty, crowded at most time, the road full of potholes, non respecting traffic users, yet still i have a speacial love, a speacial bond which is hard to explain. Something which will remain in my heart forever! Felt like i was born there before, maybe on my previous birth? Well il leave it to my mind and my heart to find for the answer.

So, that's it folks.. end of my rather short blog of visit to India.

Vacation mode activated!

Vacation mode activated once again! How happy iam!! Yes im going for a vacation. To be honest, the longest of all my vacation so far. 10 days to India. Its not a tour, but self exploring vacation covering most of the south bound destination in India. The places im covering would be Chennai, Tanjavore, Chidambaram, Madurai, Kerala & etc. Wow, im getting so much excited! Firstly, because this is a very much or shall i say, long awaited vacation! Secondly, because of a strong emotion bond towards India. A kind of a visit to see a long lost mother or a family alike. Infact i do believe each and every Indian around the globe (non India resident) would feel the same. Can't wait to explore all those architecture, the history, the people especialy the race that talks and live the same way as you do inevitably.

Ive done with my flight, hotel bookings and the packing's of course. Only thing left, is to say a temporary goodbye to the country where i born and head towards the country where im emotionally attached! India! I will try my level best on keep up posting on my whereabouts and the interesting things im gonna explore, depending on my internet connection of course! :)

Thirudan Police

"Thirudan Police", Another most ridiculous movie ive seen in recent times. Wonder if the debutant director has a scope of becoming a director before thinking of coming up a visual presentation! Irritating comedy, unwanted songs, worst screenplay. It made me wonder if its suppose to be a comedy movie or an action packed ones?

Happy again!

Happy with the development my mum has regaind conciousness after 5 hours in the operation theater. When i talk to her after she came back to her ward, eventhou she couldnt speak up, she shows her thumbs up.. an ok sign.. what a relief i was.. after 7 months of suffering, i just hope she will be all well and be back with her normal life once again!

Thanks to the god for hearing my prayers. I will fulfill the prayers very soon coming thaipusam! :)

Unimaginable Stress

Never came across my mind of this day. Im feeling stressed like its never before. Praying and praying for the best news out. Waiting at the hospital with the  clock ticking every second is very very painfull. My mother is undergoing surgery for CSF leak. A type of disorder where brain protecting fluid keeps dripping thru her nose every time. We thought ita a running nose, till we get to know about it few months back. The doctors said they can give a 100% confirmation of a successful surgery.. yes thats the news i want to hear. Yet still im feeling skeptical. I cant imagine a life without her! Feeling emotionally stressed right  now.

Dear god, please make me strong.. i want my mum back.. Please dont take her away from me!!

Iranian Carpet

Ive always loved iranian or persian carpet for its authentic wool weaved finishing. Eventhou its expensive, loved the way to walk on them. Felt so comfortably  relaxing. Yesterday went out to purchase some other stuff but changed my mind thanks to my another half, that i bought a wonderful, expensive, authentic, silk type wool carpet. Since yesterday i can resist on walking on top of it.

Million Dollar Arm

Million Dollar Arm, one of the best Sports biographical movie ive seen in recent times. Good story narration. And im surprised its a true story! Seriously cant believe how 2 Indian guys from India make themselves a big name in American baseball history. A big Wow for that!

The " I " Effect

Been listening to "I" music.. the upcoming Tamil mega movie in making for almost 2 years now. Its directed by my favorite director Shankar. Cant wait for the movie. As most know, extravaganza, magnum opus, beyond imagination is the word perfect for shankar's movie. Im sure he have kicked in the same element on this movie too. Cant wait!

Till then.. ive 'merselayiten' with the songs.. *no idea what it meant thou*  :)

Clueless time away

After nearly 2 month of depressed, clueless, agonizing, missing time.. im back!
i hope its for good as for few days now ive been trying to sort things up. Hope im back to where iam. Too much things have going on the past which caused me to have a lack of dedicated time to blog. I know ive been saying that for the past few post, but i have a feeling im back for good. Bless me whoever you are for me to come back to normal :)
